State STEM Certified

We are so excited to announce that Cooper’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Academy has received state certification. This means our STEM teachers and students have successfully satisfied the requirements for certification from the state of Georgia in addition to the Cobb County certification that we received last spring.  Please join us in congratulating all of the faculty, staff, and students who worked so hard to make this possible.

We couldn’t have done this without your support. As in all things, it costs money for Cooper to continue to do the amazing things it has been doing and wants to do. We count on your continued support, financially or otherwise. Please keep Cooper Foundation in mind. With your help, we can achieve great things.

Don’t Forget Us

While you’re shopping this holiday season, don’t forget that our Yankee Candle Online Store is still open until December 31st. For the same prices you will find in the stores, 40% of your purchase goes back to the school. You can’t go wrong there! Just go to and use Group No. 990099488. Thanks for your support!

Scholastic Book Fair

Your Cooper Foundation helped promote and volunteer at the book fair during conference week. Thanks for supporting it so well and making it such a success. The money made from that goes back into your Media Center!

Yankee Candle Orders

We still have a couple of orders that have not been picked up. Please stop by the front office any time and pick them up. We are not allowed to send boxes home on the bus. Thanks so much for your support! We have raised a total of $3200 of our Foundation goal so far! We can start looking at ordering furniture for our first phase of transforming our Media Center. Exciting!

Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Our Yankee Candle Fundraiser Kick-Off is today, Monday, August 15th. Packets will be coming home with your students today. Create a seller login and share your child’s seller link on email, Facebook, and Twitter through the website. Also, download the app and share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, email, and text through it. Easy instructions are found in the packet. Our goal is $40,000 to modernize our media center. Each student raising $40 will reach that goal. We make 40% off of each item sold. So, if your student sells 3 or 4 of the large candles, our goal will be reached with one fundraiser. Let’s show out and show what we can do for our school!
